Wiper and True has long been the club’s regular meeting spot, but its been a while since we made it to the Barrel Store in St Werburgh’s.
Recently refurbished and feeling warm and inviting even on a cold March evening, it was the perfect location for the club regulars and some new faces, a big welcome to Chris, Mark, Ian and Nigel. Giving us a huge turn out to rival the Christmas meet-ups.

With 13(!) beers to get through we had to attack them in the only logical way, by ABV.
| Brewer | Beer | ABV |
|---|---|---|
| Pete | Petite Saison | 2.6% |
| Luiz | Stout | 4.0% |
| Tom | English Pale | 4.6% |
| Rob | Czech Amber Lager | 4.7% |
| Will | Golden Ale | 5.0% |
| Evs | Hopfenweisse | 5.2% |
| Ian | Wheat Beer | 5.3% |
| Paul | American Pale Ale | 5.4% |
| Nigel | Wheat Beer | 6.0% |
| Chris | Saison | 6.6% |
| Luiz | Stout | 7.0% |
| Chris | Ice Bock | 9.4% |
| Pete | Triple | 10.5% |

Following the beers, it was time to hand out the hops for the latest challenge, #29 already. This time around each brewer gets 400g of experimental hops from Charles Faram. 200g x CF302 and 200g x CF349 to brew anything they like with.
With 15 entrants, the meet at the end of May is likely to be a messy but fun one.
